Privacy Policy

How this website and INSILUME handle information, and how to reach us about your privacy.

Effective and last updated: October 8, 2026

Scope and operator

This website (insilume.com) and INSILUME are operated and developed by 深圳市希赫拉科技有限公司. Privacy contact: developer@insilume.com.

INSILUME is in development. The App sections describe its current design; available capabilities depend on the installed edition and distribution method. We will update this policy if data handling changes at release.

Selected text and model requests

Selecting text alone does not trigger an AI request. After you deliberately request help through a shortcut or Services menu and consent to sending data to the provider, the App sends selected text and necessary limited context to the supported third-party model service you configure for translation, understanding or answers.

Limited context may include a small amount of nearby text, window title, application name and identifier, UI role, and system and answer language settings. These help the model understand context. Available fields depend on the source application and capture method.

The App does not proactively capture or send complete documents, full screens, screenshots, browsing URLs or file paths. Selected text or a window title may themselves contain such information. Do not select information you do not want to share with your model provider.

The current selection limit is 2,000 user-perceived characters, counted as grapheme clusters. Longer selections are rejected locally. The App does not use OCR, screenshots or screen recording to obtain selections.

Local storage and permissions

INSILUME provides no selection, context or answer history, accounts, bookmarks or content cloud sync. Content in the current session is released when the session ends.

Your API key is stored in macOS Keychain on your device and used to authenticate requests to your configured provider. It is not stored in ordinary preferences files or content logs. Non-content preferences, such as language, shortcut and model selection, may be saved locally.

The Direct edition uses macOS Accessibility permission to obtain selections and limited context from supported applications. Capture in some controls may briefly use a copy mechanism and attempt to restore previous clipboard contents on the normal successful path. Concurrent clipboard changes may affect restoration. Temporary clipboard snapshots are not saved as history.

Current local diagnostics may record timings and status information. They exclude selections, nearby text, window titles, answer bodies, API keys and Authorization contents.

Third-party model services

Requests go from the App to your configured third-party model service. INSILUME does not operate its own AI forwarding gateway. Before the first send, the App explains what is sent, who receives it and why. Changing providers requires consent again.

A provider may process authentication data, network information, inputs and outputs, and retain data under its own policy. Retention, training use, processing locations and charges depend on the selected provider and your account settings. Read that provider's terms and privacy policy before use.

We do not promise that every provider retains no requests, or that AI output is always accurate.

Website visits

This is a static product website. We have not configured advertising, visitor analytics scripts, website AI endpoints, account registration or online forms. We do not ask you to enter selected text or API keys here. All demonstration examples are prewritten local content.

This website is prepared for deployment to Cloudflare Pages. When accessed through Cloudflare services, their infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, browser or device information and security-related technical data to deliver pages and maintain the service. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for its handling of data.

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, or use browser local storage to record visitor behavior. Infrastructure may use technical mechanisms required for delivery or security.

Support emails

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. We use them to reply, investigate issues and handle privacy requests. We do not require API keys, passwords or private selections.

Our email service provider may process support correspondence. We retain relevant information only as needed to handle the inquiry, resolve issues or meet applicable obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of support information that is no longer needed.

Your choices and contact

You can choose not to send model requests, change or remove locally stored model credentials, or revoke Accessibility permission in macOS settings. Revoking permission may disable the corresponding selection capture.

To ask about, access, correct or delete information you have supplied by email, or raise other privacy questions, contact developer@insilume.com. We will handle requests according to the information we hold and applicable law.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when product capabilities, releases or service configurations change. The current policy will be published here with an updated date. Changes that require renewed consent will be handled through an appropriate process.
